Our postman is still in shorts. I saw a very large woman in cut off denim shorts today and nothing on her legs. I like the proper winter shorts look with thick tights underneath

The reason some posties wear shorts in the winter is as water rises from the bottom up they wont be in wet trousers/jeans all day. My postie is female and she wears leggings all year round.
