Best reason why someone failed to show up

Have you ever received an imaginative reason given for not showing up…

A few weeks ago I booked a hotel for a small GB meet. It was a struggle finding the right gents . One guy that sounded promising said, he’d decided to wear his gym clothing so as not to raise suspicion of the hotel staff.

I retorted “ oh of course hotel staff expect all their customers to arrive in gym shorts and a muscle vest

He didn’t show up.

I did a similar thing a while ago and they guy didn't even show I... The reason he gave for bailing? He didn't want to wear a condom... Idiot

Manchester (she/her)

When I first joined Fab some chick claimed to land in hospital three days after joining.

(I had photographic evidence)

Perhaps he was already understandably nervous and your 'retort' made him feel unwelcome?

Amazing the high number of failing mobile phones these no shows experience .

Another guy coming to a GB I organised said he was standing outside the hotel . I was there and he was never there. I asked why he didn’t just phone me , he had nothing to say

Gangbang. Guy didn't show. No reason

Next day, he commented now he knows I'm up for it, let's meet one on one.

Surprisingly that didn't happen

?

The train she was on ran over a cow on the way there!

It was actually true, but it still makes me giggle because it sounds like a really fantastical fabricated excuse

Tonypandy.

Miraculously fell down stairs and fractured leg about 15 mins before we were due to meet. Took 2 days to inform me of that. Then when we rescheduled, there was death in the family, but still not sure whether it was aunt or uncle. (Maybe it was both)

No just bullshit excuses that apparently don’t apply to others!

I’ve encountered this many times . They go silent on the day and then I’ve had guys say … so what happened . My phone was on the blink . So sad .

It’s understandable most guys aren’t really confident for a GB meet, but just agree because it’s the only chance they’d have .

I’ve often just block them and not try to reschedule.

Leicester

Circa 2001 had a girl cancel because she said she had broken her leg, I was all "whatever" then a couple of weeks later saw her in Cupids with a cast on her leg.

Had to give her respect for dedication.

Do you think whoever pushed him down the stairs targeted the aunt & uncle too?? Sounds like it could be a family vendetta… or something!!

We are too tired after meeting another couple last night and having an epic night. Just going to stay by the pool today.
