Been having an interesting discussion this evening regarding elite sporting achievements..

This is 100% totally an individual opinion but in your opinion which of these three is the hardest to achieve ...

A 9 Dart Finish

A Hole in One

A Snooker 147 Maximum...

147, definitely....the odds are incredible.

You can fluke a hole in one.

And a 9 dart finish, still very difficult, but even amateurs can achieve it (not me, my best was 12 darts).

I don't know enough about any of the sports mentioned but would look at which of each have been achieved the most in their respective sports

A 147 is super hard.

If you think about sporting achievements in terms of average percentage, most guys can do a 20 second 100m. I can just about do a 15 second one now and that’s only 50% slower than bolt, for example.

I’ve done 1 180 in a pub, could I do two in a row? Probably if I practiced a couple of months, you could say I’m 1/3rd of the way to a 9 dart finish.

I’ve had a hole in one on a pitch and put and hit the flag too on a 9 hole. I think this one’s easy to fluke.

A 147 tho? Not a chance. My best break is about 30, and there was only 1 black in it.

Essentially, your liking at getting it right once from 1 go, 9 times from 9, or 37 times from 37…

It could depend on the hole but I would say a Hole in One. I bet the top Snooker pros hit 147 regularly in practice but the top golfers could rarely hit a hole in one on purpose.

About 3 feet away from the fence

Hole in one - there are just too many variables at play

9 dart finish - 9 almost-perfect darts in a rowbis something even 30 year veteran World champions can't just do on demand

147 - still hard but if you're a snooker player there's a point you get you where you've seen most possible angles
