Isn’t it annoying ! Its worse than if you don’t find them hot, it’s like a cruel ironic punishment for spending too long in the sweet shop earlier in life.

And why is it we feel so bad excusing ourselves and going home yet for girls thats just normal. The surprised / hurt face you get like you’ve done the worst possible thing in the world to them

To be honest that’s why I take time to talk to people in advance. Phone calls and video calls. And always a social first.

Physical attraction for me is just part of the jigsaw

I get that but when they are so good looking , fit and one of your dream nationalities you kind of assume it’s a given . What I learned tonight is how language barriers can just kill all the chemistry

Often there isn’t , I’ve seen people fucking people at parties they haven’t even seen each other face or spoken but they seem to enjoy it

Tbh I find that a pretty rare occurrence. If there’s a mutual physical attraction I’ve tended to find there’s good chemistry too.

The only exception had been with guys who are attractive but have very little personality. Now I’ve been around for donkeys years I tend to be able to tell at the messaging stage if they don’t have enough about them to keep me entertained in between bouts of jiggy jiggy!

This is exactly why I ask for a social with no expectations; if there's no fireworks over a coffee, there won't be any in a bedroom either.

I know what you mean about telling them you won't be looking to take things further though......

Yeah me too.. even if you've made it clear it's a social only, you still have to break it to them. It always makes me feel bad, I don't like to hurt peoples feelings No matter how 'nice' you are about it, it has to sting

That aside, you shouldn't feel bad for going home. You weren't feeling it, that's reason enough. People can be on the same date but two completely different dates. Hope you're feeling better this morning.

Out of sight out of my mind is how I see things. Better to be blunt to point if it’s not for you and not waste anymore time for you or them

They will get over it op , if that’s the biggest problem they have in life well they are doing well. I wouldn’t worry about it as they get over it fast enough
