We have bought a few sex toys and purchased some lubes. We discovered that their are water based and silicon based. We made the mistake of buying a ‘hot’ lube and both suffered. We also found lube can be expansive

Can anyone recommend a decent one?

I get the lube and toy cleaner from lovehoney, they come as a bundle and is cheaper than buying separately. Plus theres quite often a sale, in addition to the 16% you get off for being on fab. X

Liquid Silk is the king of lubes….. scratch that God Tier!

The stuff lasts for ever, rarely dries out & relatively inexpensive.

We went to a store in Oldham to buy our as Cammy had never been in one. We asked for recommendation but were unsure if we were getting good advice or just been sold something on the shelf. The ‘hot’ lube was a big mistake for us and went straight in the bin. Will look at Lovehoney and google liquid silk

Thank you

Coconut oil is natural. And taste good at the same time. But may not be condom friendly .

Another vote for liquid silk, doesn't get sticky unlike some of the others.

You have water based, oil based and silicone based lubes.

Make sure you use the right one for your toys and condoms or else you will find they are damaged/destroyed.

We have a bunch of liquid silk as well as some water based ones we got free with purchases.

Liquid silk here too. Coconut oil is good but not with condoms. Also don't use anything other than hot water and soap rinsed well to clean toys if you're prone to thrush, cystitis or bv, the toy cleaners are really bad for those things

I use moisturiser, and water, it's lovely. As it happens I am allergic to both latex and some sex lubes so I get latex free condoms and hypoallergenic lube or as I say I use non perfumed moisturiser. Also be careful with some of the "lubes" as they affect the silicone of dildo's making them sort of "melt" on the surface. As with condoms oils are a no no as they do affect condoms and silicone .

Also look on Ebay for lubes they really are much more affordable and come in sealed quantities the one I get is I D Glide 500ml and it's Hypoallergenic.

I have used liquid silk on myself to "play" but had an allergic reaction, needed meds and it put me out of action for 6 weeks.
