just recd the most amazing present eva.

A teddy bear that you put in the microwave and it becomes a hot water bottle .. its cute, furry and cuddly, and works amazingly well on aches and pains ..

anyone else rec'd any simple but brilliant gifts ?

I've had one for years, they're good because.they mould themselves around body parts like knees. The only downers are, A) they bloody stink B) they don't stay hot for long.

just make one from rice and a sock

put some essential oil on it to stop it smelling...although if it smells it possible you have burnt the insides

Those are great but make sure you never heat it too long, (depending on the filling) they can continue to heat up after.

i got nothing this year my parents are cutting back and no one to buy for me which i don't mind.

i don't mind to be honest i like giving rather then receiving i got cups for special people and little lint bears for the extra special people out there

Had a similar gift many years ago but it was a cat. Meowed a lot in the m/wave and only got one used out of it.

Im no 'master baker' by any stretch of the imagination but i do like making cakes for folks and people do seem to like receiving them as it does show that youve spent abit of ur time thinking about them

actually i ,ade batches of fudge fr people and gave them as presents pople loved it i eplainded i didnt have aoot of moey but people that would normally get a proper prezzie got a box mixed fudge people were so happy i was asked to make a few batches for their relatives and guys at work ate a tripple batch in a day lol
