What a gritty, epicly-shot series that was! And possibly one of the greatest adverts for safe sex ever! Did anyone else enjoy watching it?

I was scared to open this as it said spoilers but it's the only thread I could find on The English. I'm on episode 2 and not loving it yet, but everyone says it's amazing. Should I stick with it?

Yeah it definitely feels like it's dragging. And I really want to like Emily Blunt as I think she seems like a cool person but feels like she's bringing rom com energy, and overall they're trying to copy Django unchained or something so I don't actually get what I'm watching!

I have a short attention span - it was far to slow moving for me - I even gave the episode I watched a sporting chance by giving it a whole 20 mins!

Definitely stick with it! It is a little slow at times, but it also jolts you wide awake too! I thought it was great!
