We are both looking to attend a club in the new year and will be our first time. We were wondering what people wear? (Men & woman) I would like the mr to dress in his sexy clothing but he’s nervous and want to see what everyone else wears first. Thanks

I think most clubs require you to dress as a Disney character. But I'd definitely speak to the manager. And something about upside down pineapple trifle or something.

It’s tricky for men, so I’ll go off piste slightly and say wear a decent fragrance, all guys look the same in a towel or white CKs, make sure he smells good

Check the club first, I believe Pandora’s is dress down on arrival, but I’m not sure about others.

You’re bound to get 150 sarcastic replies on here, so I’d just check their websites or contact the club owners or party hosts.

Thank you.

Don’t understand why people would be sarcastic when I’m asking a genuine question?

Because it's the lounge! Support&advice, club discussion, and even swingers chat will produce far fewer/no wisecracks. (Report to admin to ask for it to be moved along if you wish). Interesting in the replies also.

North West

It really depends on which club you want to visit as to what to wear. They have lots of different conventions. It also depends on if it's a specific themed night or type of party too. Basically, you'd need to narrow it down to the name of a club for advice to be relevant. Sorry that's not especially helpful!

It will depend on the club OP. At our favourite one we get naked and stay that way, or just a towel but others will be smart to sexy depending where you are in the club. Work checking the club reviews on here and their websites.

Thanks for the advice.

It would be either after dark in Edinburgh, CJs in Glasgow or club play in Blackpool.

We will look at the sites closer to the time of course, just wanted to get an idea of what men wear to them

Pandora’s is dress down upstairs. Downstairs is whatever you’re comfortable with

Check dress down policies and choose a night where there’s an event that suits your preferences would be my best overall advice.

As for choice of clothing, if it’s dress down then men are short of options really but ladies have much more freedom.

Ultimately though so long as you’re within the dress code of whatever venue you choose I’d just opt for whatever you both feel comfortable in

Afterdark doesn’t have a dress down policy. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in. They do have theme nights though so check the website before you go.
