You're touching your belly button in one of your photos, and exhibiting it in another? How does this feel for you?

When you're hairy the movement of your body hair tends to dump the fibres of your clothing into your belly button (speaking as the owner of an "innie" belly button).

I often used to wonder why I had a blue ball of fluff in it every night until I found out that it was probably from the jeans I used to wear.

Anyway...not a phobia but I don't like feet. I mean, I can look at my own and others aren't a problem in a naked situation. I just won't be paying any particular attention to them.

South Derbyshire

I had a really severe needle phobia for over 10 years. I'd avoided all sorts of medical tests and treatment over the years and had mentally accepted that it might kill me one day if I became seriously ill because I just could not accept a needle. It sounds ridiculous and melodramatic but it was completely beyond my control. I couldn't even listen to people talk about needles without having a panic attack.

Then I got pregnant and knew I needed to have the blood tests and vaccinations for the baby's sake. And I did it. And it was fine. And the phobia was over just as suddenly and irrationally as it started. Brains are strange, awkward fuckers.

"Trypophobia."

I know someone who has this very badly -- and I know that even talking about the triggers can be a trigger.

It's not recognised medically, but when someone can't walk down a street because they get nauseous and itchy at the sight of anti-slip patterns, it's clearly not a laughing matter.

If anyone does know of any safe resources that work, I'd love to hear them.

I'm not touching it in any of my photos! Exhibiting it is fine

Well you've hidden your profile now. But you clearly had a pic of your hand over it, hence touching it?

The phobia can be on various levels.

Having a and over something (so it isn't visible)doesn't equate to touching.

Perhaps the ops level of the phobia is distinct.
