Incect bite?

Anybody been bitten or stung by an incect recently?

The night before last 29th. I was bitten by something while I slept. Woke the next morning with a pain in my wrist. 30th my hand swelled up to double its size and it became incredibly painful. I had to go to hospital today. No idea what bit me, but ghe reaction was that of a sand fly which we don't get here.

I was bitten by one of those. It left a blister and pain like a wasp sting but I guess people react differently to such things.

yes if a bite gets in to your blood stream then it can cause a reaction.. but with climate change… there are alsorts of bugs coming out

Probably a spider at this time of year. They are generally harmless but may bite if you move or rollover in your sleep.

Taxi, they arent on strike yet. And I got in just before the Dr's and nurses start.
