Tonypandy.

I love Christmas pudding. Adore German gingerbread, don't mind the occasional mince pie or Christmas cake.

But best of stollen. Still warm from the oven.

But I don’t get offered stollen. I get offered mince pies.

I don’t like the gritty bits in raisins, currents, and sultanas. They get in my teeth.

It’s a load of Victorian shite and we have proper modern deserts and chocolate biscuits and refrigerators now. I don’t see the point of any of it.

I do with brandy or vanilla cream, that said I’m a greedy bugger so after 3 rounds of turkey it can be a bit of a struggle to get through

"Oh i love it.. Twice a year "

Reminds me of a friend whose Gran would always make him one for his birthday in July, which I always thought was really sweet.

Me, I hate the stuff.

I can't remember. I ordered it for my work Christmas meal dessert. But I'm almost certain I have a mouthful most Christmas nights and it doesn't sit well with a belly full of all day drinking and I leave it. Don't know is my answer

Stollen is the devil's work.

Christmas puddings are delicious, especially with all the trimmings.
