Are we loosing the connection with reality

It feels most people just want virtual pleasure without real world interaction. Lot of talk with very little action. I was just wondering if I am the only one who feels the same way!?

You are..... Remember you're in a forum where people chat, share opinions, argue and just generally talk crap, the other stuff is reality which I personally find easier to do in person

I see this trend not exclusively but more in younger people.

Phone, text sex doesn't do anything for me. And yeah I'd meet people every day if I could. But I'd get tired.

But real life interaction and connections are obviously best

.

Do you think we're losing that connection with reality because people only want to talk via here and not meet you OP?

I'm not sure, part of me says we are less inclined to live in the real world and generally are less social beings. I don't think it's a tired old trope of being a generational thing though.

Define 'most'.

I wonder if there was a counter on the Fab home page showing the number of new verifications each day that you'd still think the same.

The club scene isn't as busy as pre-covid but it's alive and kicking too.

Maybe you're putting personal experience ahead of the bigger picture? People are meeting left right and centre but that doesn't always appear to be the case if those meets don't involve you. It's easy to think that nothing is going on if you're having a dry spell yourself, but that generally doesn't reflect the site or swinging as a whole.

Try something different and see if you have more luck.

I love meeting people it's a necessary part of life that interaction, laughing, joking and just talking crap, some people have lost that art though

Totally but there's still real physical connection and talk that happens. With the internet, you can talk to way more people than without it so it appears we don't talk properly anymore where I think I get more opportunity to do so. I met great people that i would never experienced if it wasn't for the internet.

Covid increased the instant gratification online pleasures, and that trend has stayed. Nearly all of my messages are for men wanting sexting now. Apart from getting yourself out there to socials and clubs, I cant offer much more advice.

I just don't entertain these types who ask for sexting. It bores me no end. Totally waste of my precious time. I rather just meet and play for real. I tell them to buy a fleshlight, blow up doll

or pay for action if they're that desperate.

I think it’s just evolution that people will use tech to socialise. We use tech more and more for shopping, information, chatting and sharing our daily activities, so yes sex and dating are already high on the tech way of enjoying ones chosen lifestyle.

I do understand you (OP) reasoning tho. Has the time of actually meeting “the old fashion way” gone? Maybe but to engage physically, we have to eventually meet face to face.

Is this the real life?

Is this just fantasy?

Caught in a landside,

No escape from reality

Open your eyes,

Look up to the skies and seeeeee

There's a lot of 'little silhouetteos' on the site.

You could be on to something here.....
