iPad or MacBook?

My MacBook Pro has die, it’s done well considering I brought it in 2015!

Now considering an iPad, but totally confused at all the options

Or do I go windows or sick to MacBooks?

It’s a minefield!

General use of perving on here, paying bills, banking, updating CV, job hunting, social media, shopping, looking on Rightmove at things I can never afford

Oh and the odd spreadsheet when planning holidays, savings etc

MacBook all day if you can afford it! Although the iPad Pro is really useful with the Apple Pencil!

The new models are great for films and Netflix too

Personally I’d go MacBook, as much as people slate Apple products, they do last a hell of a long time so it kinda justifies their price.

iPad you’re restricting yourself, Windows machines you’re going to get a lot of unnecessary bloatware you’ll be spending time removing.

Sounds like you’re just performing browser based tasks. Doesn’t sound like you need the extra power and cost of the MacBook. Talk to the Apple Store staff and tell them what you are doing and see what they advise.

Macbook Airnis brilliant and much easier to type on than an ipad. We have had ours for 7 years now and still going strong.

Went to apple they did a thing and said hard drive, and buy a new one

Went to a local non apple but apple approved repair place, the mac won’t even accept my password, they opened it up all cables are ok

It wouldn’t load up at all

When it comes to apple never approved apple repair centres or apple them selfs

They under sticked policy to tell you it can’t be fixed and try to get you to buy a new one

That YouTube channel I linked is a guy in the USA who fix’s apple products

None approved and shows that customers have came in and been told it’s dead and needs a new one and he’s fixed it and it’s back out the door in 3 days time

Would take to a none apple approved shop

And see what they say
