We've come across very few fake profiles, they're pretty easy to spot. Fewer still have tried to contact us. As much as fake accounts get touted as a problem, I don't think it's as big as issue as made out.

I think it’s overloaded, but definitely not with people pretending to be couples or women (although this is a problem).

The vast majority of accounts on here are single males, and a vast amount of them are anything but respectful, honest and genuine.

It is entirely possible to have success on here as a single guy, you just have to put the work in, be polite and respectful, READ PROFILES and try and make yourself stand out from the average dick pick sharing, one line writing, “fancy a fuck” merchants.

Also, moaning about how badly single guys have it on here as if it should be some sort of instashag is really not going to endear you to people

We would agree there are an incredible amount of fake accounts. We don't reply to them though, and choose to meet real people in clubs

Most definitely this. With bells on.

You get out of the site what you want.

It might be better to look at FAB as a community rather than hook up site.

Take that mind set and you end up building your network of friends and future play partners through socials, clubs and then on to private parties.

Fake accounts are usually fairly obvious and easy to avoid.

I've never engaged with one in six years and I've never had a no show in all that time either.

If you find you are continually chatting to fake profiles it's time to take a look at how you are vetting those you chat to and change your approach.

Fake people are a different topic of conversation and bring their own level of toxicity to the site.

Toxic is an interesting word. I wouldn't go that far.

Although I suppose it party depends how you use the site and filter the clutter. For me it's generally more for forums, information and keeping in touch with friends from the scene than it is about interacting with strangers across cyberspace. So maybe my exposure is limited to the toxicity you describe.

We’ve met some wonderful people & on forums I chat with some genuinely good folk.

I’m not saying it’s perfect- there are definitely some wrong uns, I assume my resting bitch tits move them

I find that I only really have trouble with single guys on this. They’re constantly making statuses and forum threads crying about not getting a response. As soon as you do respond with a polite “no thank you”, the world ends and abuse gets thrown.

The amount of times I’ve been called rude, entitled, “nothing special”, “no one would look at you twice in the real world”, blah blah blah, is crazy. And it’s not even the younger guys. Majority of the time it’s the guys 40+. The same guys who repeatedly message me for a response are the ones who then tell me I’m nothing special.. where’s the logic? Hahahaha

Go to clubs and socials - you’ll find the genuine ones there

Half the problem with this site is the single guys. And I say that as a single guy.

We outnumber the couples and women by a good percentage.

Out of 100 single guys;

40 act like spunktrumpets so people tar the remainder as bad

20 make constant statuses about “woe is me I can’t get a meet”

10 are fake accounts just here for collecting pictures to distribute on 4chan

10 don’t even socialise or build bridges

10 just join the forums to start arguments

5 are just dick pic afficiando’s

3 are the same guy

The remaining 2 are the decent ones who gave up and f*cked off for an easier life.
