"The Maltese Falcon' is a great film and a superb thriller but has a narrow focus of a crime plot. "Casablanca" is of universal application and is more than a whodunnit and is full of a real longing, recognisable unsentimental human behaviour, and great themes.

The best film ever.

You don’t need action packed cgi stunts when you have dialogue like you have here.

Mind I am no expert on the film, I have only seen it about five hundred times or so !
