Tom visited a supermarket today. He does not know how to pronounce it but it is spelt Lidl. Tom once thought that it was a shop were the poor shopped but he was judging it by the car park. Tom is not one to compliment the French but the croissants were decent. Never judge a book by it's cover.

Tom's trolling its getting next level...i'm sure he knows perfectly well Lidl is German. If you likes the pastries, i suggest you try the baguette next time, truly gorgeous when fresh baked.

Also, if you're judging it by the carpark, you need to change branch. Outside mine i've seen several Porsches, a Mercedes G Wagon, One of those Lamborghini SUV things and a bright yellow Ferrari (which i think is the bloke at the end of my lane, but i've only caught a glimpse of a sleek bright yellow thing through the trees, so he could drive a banana?)

My brother has lived in germany for the last forty years, so watched as Lidl and Aldi grew there first

On one visit over there, quite a few years ago now, we were talking about how Akdi and Lidl had made great strides in the UK and he said, in Germany no one admits to shopping there, but the car park is always full of Mercs and BMW's

lidl is German lol but the car parks always have an electric hook up so a tesla can always be seen

I used to meet my wife at lunchtime if I was working in Morpeth and we used to buy a sandwich and sit in Lidl's carpark on our lunch break,

I used to love watching to stuck-up toffee-nosed twats from Morpeth taking the shopping from a Lidl trolley into the boot of their car and then transferring it into a fancy carrier bag - M&S or Waitrose ........

People can pronounce it whatever way they like but in lreland shopping centers like Lidl and Aldi saved families and people during the recession or financial crash since 2008 with the quality and prices of goods , l knew people that said they would never shop in places like that , that statement lasted about 3 weeks.

Emerging reports that Aldi and Lidl prices have risen by 19% over the last period which is the highest of the Top 8 supermarkets. Are they taking advantage of the socially disadvantaged who are less likely to realise what's going on here guys. Sometimes the poor are poor for a reason.
