Is that like "who's your Daddy, baby"?

Titz Towers, North Notts

I think they've all brought something different to it. However, Christopher Ecclestone coming face to face with his first Dalek was a masterclass in acting.

I'm of an age who has seen all but 2 doctors!!

Of the early ones it has to be Tom Baker! In the modern era Christopher Eccleston was a good one to reboot the series but David Tennant has to be the best! Peter Capaldi could have been much better if he had been given the proper script writers!!

But yes Amy pond is the absolute favourite companion

I vaguely remember McCoy as the Doctor was away back when. Since the reboot ith Eccleston I've enjoyed them all, just some less than others. I wasn't a huge fan of Smith in his first season, but he got progressively better. I kinda stopped watching a few episodes in when Jodie became the Doctor but that was nothing to do with a female being the doctor, I just didn't have time to watch it. Top Doctor for me is a close run between Tennant and Capaldi.

11 is the best. 12 is my favourite.

Been rewatching NuWho the passed couple of weeks. Tennant is just a bit too cringe looking back.

John pertwee followed by Patrick Troughton. The rest have been insignificant by their mediocrity.

"David Tennant ... welcome back "

I still cant see the point in the roll back on the newer recent episodes.

I can think of a few reasosn why but my honest oppinion is the writing was so poor for the lady doctor.

To me it was the bbc that didnt want a lady doctor who.

Yes she didn't get good scripts but The writing has been poor since Russel T Davies left. I'd have loved to see Charlie Brooker (black Mirror) do the writing.

Funnily enough I watched a very abridged version of Genesis of the Daleks last night. Tom Baker was brilliant. Davros brilliantly creepy.

The issue was the showrunner that got chosen. Broadchurch was great apparently, but all of the worst episodes before he started as showrunner, were written or directed by him. That should have been red flag enough, but I guess they were desperate to get someone who at least had experience within the Whoniverse.

There were moments where Jodie shone. But honestly, when the Fugative Doctor turned up and instantly stole the show, that sealed it for me. Ruth was fantastic and show have been the first choice.

Yeah he's back as showrunner. He actually approached the BBC as he felt it was his duty to come back and sort it out.

Thats why Tennant is back too, some familiarity to bring old fans back.
