Soon it will be against the law to put videos/pics on internet without consent listening to Dominic Raab yesterday...not sure how this will be moderated here.

Surely if the person is loading their own video, that would constitute consent.. I'm sure there is something in the rules that you can only load photos /vids of yourself

There's definitely vids on here of threesomes etc but how would a couple, for example, prove consent of the third person?

All videos must be vetted by Dominic Raab, I always thought he had a kinky side.

Yeah i was thinking more of a single pringle really

I see so many photos and wonder about consent.. Esp those that look like they are taken in a non-fab world

I also wonder how many face pics etc are st*len from fb etc (oh i didn't know that was a bad fab word !)

I was of the understanding that was already the case, however, it would seem that the difference between this and as things stand now is 'mallice'.

Apparently, the current law is to fo with sharing such media with the intent to cause someone distress / harm etc but the new proposal is basically doing away with tgat caveat and simplifying things to just a matter of consent

You should brush up on site rules fella. Fab already states that pictures MUST include profile owner with identities of others obscured - and, as I understand, that you must have consent of all those in the picture to post it

Why is it that as soon as consent is mentioned with regards to something sexual, people forget how to obtain consent?

It’s really not difficult.

And if you’re struggling to get their consent as you can’t contact them, don’t put any pictures or videos of them up.

You’re all welcome.

I sort of thought that was already the case but fook me going to take some policing, have to identify all the stars and ask if they gave permission, but presumably if someone claims you have put them on a video without consent you going to be in big shite seems like a mine field or maybe gold field for legal profession.

Yes I suppose that's an option. We don't post pics/vids of anyone but ourselves, however, plenty do.

I suspect it will be extraordinarily difficult to enforce, but in terms of knowing for myself that I've obtained consent, that's pretty easy.

Consent forum signed the same as hub and hamster have

Any video on hub and hamster now is pro porn

even if the title says stranger dogging or what ever the title is completely porn bs

As a consent forum need to be filled in and I.d sent him off all people in the video

And yes videos aren’t atuo checked they manually check

As I have had a couple bonce back on me

Cleaning that I need to hand in the female I.D that soloed in the video and need to go though a bunch off plava to explain it’s me that’s in the video

Hub and hamster require I.D and consent forums and all that to be done for a video to be posted

People involved I sexual would hopefully have all consented. However, posting that sexual activity on here or elsewhere is a different story. I often see photos or videos and wonder if that person gave consent for her or him to shown as online platform even if their faces have been obscured

There’s a video on hub of a fab member with an electric drill with a dildo attached with duct tape and various giggling women enjoying it, it’s hilarious and can assure you it ain’t pro porn, although it should be

True but the way the law it was described even that will not be acceptable, if you dont have consent of the other party

I think fab would just have to change the rules and only the person whose account it is can be in any photos even if they are blurred out. This will be trickier for couples accounts though.

Regardless it's not just him that is calling for this and has been in the cards for ages. I think it's about time we started looking at the law again because it doesn't really cover a world where most of us interact regularly on social media.

Ch3ck this out your are confusing this. Reveng porn was for partner, people who had relationship. The new law will widen the legal cover. Even video modified to show people who were not in rhe original video will be illegal without consent. To put is simple al most any meterial put in a forum show have a consent. Covering the face with emoji will not be enough if someone complains about it.

These are somes of the loopholes the law is crying to close. Consent for sex, is not consent to recording; The body is not just the face.

I read before that there's likely to be a whole can of worms over this as more children whose parents have posted pics of them online grow up. Maybe embarrassing things which could come back to haunt them and impact their mental health or even job opportunities.

Remember the guy who tried to sure nirvana for using his baby pic? Like that but multiplied by every parent who has posted something that might even been funny at the time, but the kid didn't get to consent.

Sound like to have been following this subject for a while. You need to go back to Mr Mosley's privacy case with The Sun few years ago to understand some of the consequences, and the public opinion these days.

That will lead to no where. As parent you are the gardian ( unless parentalxright is removed from you), this give you quite a lot of rights, to make choices for the person including bad onces sometines. This is why social service step in to proptect children if they think you ain't acting in the child best interest.
