I have some deliberately odd socks that are themed in a way you can where they with any from the set, but none are the same. But pairing 2 halves of different socks? Nope....

Life is too short to worry about matching socks daily. I would make the effort for special occasions such as weddings or funerals, or going on a meet where I may end up naked.

Mine are all black so you'd have to really be checking hard. Which would be weird.

If you want them to match but they don't then it matters. If you don't want them to match but they do then it matters. If you don't care if they match but they do then it don't matter. If you don't care if they match and they don't then it don't matter. Hope that covers it all.
