Favourite colour really depends on what car it is as some colours are great on one car but not so good on another.

Except White. I don't like white cars

Ma Dad bought a brand new white Datsun Sunny in 1972, he worked as a foreman at Qualcast foundry, within a year it looked like some schoolkids had painted little brown dots on it due to all the crap that was coming out of the furnaces chimneys

I have white vans and cars

Dreadful decision with the car

Also have a black car looks good when freshly polished but again for ever cleaning it

Had bright yellow car back in the 90s which was cool back then not now though !

I’m not keen on red but a Ferrari in any other colour just doesn’t work imo

Gun metal grey I think is easiest to keep clean and tidy looking

Best = black. It’s just timeless. Always cool.

Worst = silver. Boring. Bland. Devoid of personality.

But different cars suit different colours.

My cars are black, silver and British racing green.

I find colour depends on the shape of car massively for me .. some cars looks good in one colour but another car looks awful in it ...

Example for me I love red Porsche 911 or Mercedes SUVs yet I cant stand red in general cars ..

My current favourite colour is white and my least favourite colour is silver

Silver cars are the absolute worst. They look like they’ve not been finished before sale!

I like the classic black, always look sophisticated and classy. Maybe red at a push but they don’t hold their colour well with most cars..

But mine is white and pink so maybe I’m not the best judge

It's blue, rust, replacement panel in red and other bits of metal patches.

When I was growing up there was a guy on my street who drove around in a baby-sick yellow Lada. He was a nasty, pervy piece of crap too. I think that reinforced my hatred for the colour.

Depends on the car. Some cars need certain colour schemes. A Fiesta would be ridiculous with 2 tone metallic blue and green, a Berlingo daft with racing stripes etc. Generally speaking, the more garish the car, the more it can get away with, the more everyday, the better suited to muted normal car colours.

I do enjoy a game of Yellow Car tho

I love metallic colours, both my cars are metallic, one is a nice silver with a blue tone and the other is light blue silver

I looked at a Mercedes e class cpl years back it was dark metallic red

But the leather interior was I can only describe as tobacco brown

Sounds horrid but somehow it worked

But that’s only my opinion

We've noticed we tend to like the colour of holiday rental cars in mad yellows and orange etc.

We couldn't keep the smile off our faces in a red fiat, it looked like Postman Pat's car.

In my 20's my bf and I could only afford a clap out old Mark 1 VW Polo in white. It had a sun roof (hole in the middle)... So we called it Minty.

Don't like white cars generally but Minty was fun!

My fav colour is Mazda's Soul Red on the MX5. I have the matching nail colour... Boots No7 called Salsa.
