Cambridgeshire

The Old's (god bless them) when they were alive used to buy all sorts of booze and sweets in advance of Christmas and put it away, they used to store apples and other fruit too and Dad used to make Rumtopf... me ....can't stand the Christmas fakery..I buy gifts for family but never want anything in return and never buy any special booze...I have a bottle of malt that a neighbour gave me as I wouldn't take payment for a job I did which I will consume when away...as for once I am getting away this year in the Motorhome

My mum still has a Christmas stash that she stocks up in the weeks before Christmas. I think she'd kill my dad if he touched it

My mum used to but a bottle of Corona a week leading up to Christmas from the man who came round with a lorry. She kept it in the cupboard under the sink and we used to gaze longingly at it until the big day .

We buy drink specifically for Christmas and often open it on Christmas Eve. It somehow makes it special if it's something we don't normally have

Don't bother drinking that often at home to need to buy Christmas Drinks . Nicer to go out and socialise

Same here mostly but we tend to get a lot of visitors in the run up to Christmas.
