Exactly. Cornichons for sharpness but today I fancy Mrs Ellwood for balance.

My nan’s spare room.

I love them on a burger, but I think they need ketchup and mustard to bring the best out in them.

A pickled onion however…………….

Ah! A renegade but it sounds good. Now you’ve mentioned an onion I want a lump of cheddar too. Then it leads to an apple and before you know it you’ve spoiled your tea (and don’t care).

Business partner ate them any time of day or night when she was pregnant, but then again, she also had a craving for double choc gateaux with Marmite spread thickly on it, and Smarties in milk!

I love gherkins, but not for breakfast.

I was so excited at a recent work function because there were gherkins on the buffet. And my Dutch colleague is still amused by the fact that I call the big ones that you get at chip shops pickled wallies

Big Mac's are pretty much shit burgers. Best part of a Big Mac is the gherkins and burger sauce, rest of it is pretty shitty. If a burgers missing gherkins, it's not a decent burger.
