I’ve done nothing and I have no regrets

I dropped the kids at school this morning, and between then and now I have done nothing productive. I put the PS4 on for a little while. I watched a couple of episodes of Breaking Bad. I drank coffee. I made a grilled cheese sandwich and drank more coffee. And do you know what, it’s just what I needed. Every once in a while just stop. Put down whatever it is you’ve convinced yourself needs to be done. Put away the hoover. Ignore the dishes. Don’t fold that laundry. Forget the shops. Take some time just for you, be yourself for a couple of hours, don’t be defined by all those thankless tasks. Be you. That other stuff can wait a little while.

I’ve been shopping, done housework, had food and since then haven’t moved off the sofa

I’ve been working all day, but tempted to go for a walk and then watch the matches.

This is a lovely perspective to see! I think we can all feel weighed down by everything and feel the need to move at 100pmh every day. I definitely need to take one those rest days soon!

I'm having a self care day as well!

So far I've done a face mask, foot mask, had a bath and played on my switch.

I've got laundry to do but it can wait until tomorrow

Self care is so important

I love these types of days, it's really important to take some "you time" to just chill and let your body and mind have a little bit of a reset

Sounds like a regular Friday for us.
