As much it is nice to receive birthday messages, posting your DoB does not seem a great idea when from an identity. Am I alone with thinking this?

How do you know they post the right one? They could be picking a "fab bday"

Based on how much some people share here I'd say that can be used to identify people much quicker than DOB alone.

Same year, so same age just get there a few months sooner or later
