So after my last post here and my anxiety causing me to leave the last social I went to I have had loads of messages about going to others, offers of a pint, and offers of being introduced to others. In my inbox earlier today I had a message from the organisers of the Bridgend social asking if I would like to attend the one this coming Sunday. I ummed and ared for a bit then said yes I would like to attend. So as they say the best thing to do after falling off a horse is to get back on, so the long and short of it is I am off to the social on Sunday. I will do my self-care stuff this week and am looking forward to going, and mingling, Mrs. K has said she will introduce me to people so we shall see how the inner critic acts this time, if he acts up Ill take him to Southerndown for a cold water dip

That's great news OP. One small piece of advice, perhaps don't go too early ? It always takes time for people to relax and generally Socials get more friendly as the night goes on.
