Why are the current TV appeals so high and specific? Crisis was just on TV asking for £29.07.Surely asking so much puts people off or am I Scrooge?

Go to the WWF one. for £3 a month each, seems you can "adopt" every animal known to man.

Salvation Army want twenty odd quid to feed a homeless person.

The newsreader in the scruffy white suit wants 20 odd quid for something else.

It goes on and on, dunno where they expect people to find that sort of money in the current climate
