If you like mince pies, what are you currently seeing as the best? And worst?

I’ll eat any

I’m forever disappointed with homemade mince pies, even if the pastry is perfect!

Haven’t bought any yet but I’ll try any recommendations !!

Cheeseville, Somerset

I'd eat mince pies if they actually contained proper mince.

Like a little meat pie. Not fussed on lamb or beef.

*Or pork.

Birmingham

Tesco Finest just pip Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference ones, but they’re both delicious.

Morrison’s in-store baker deep fill ones are usually pretty good too.

The last Mr. Kipling ones I had were rubbish…. dry and half filled.

Sounds good to me. Did you know mince pies originally contained mincemeat?

I bought some Morrisons standard ones - very disappointed. Minimal filling and the pastry was poor.
