With a career to be proud.

Yet, his actions and deeds,

Make him stand out in a crowd.

With sweat and endeavour,

He's highlighting a cause.

Pushing his body to the limit,

Not stopping to pause.

He's doing it for his mate,

His teammate, his friend.

Every mile that he covers,

There is a message to send.

Raising money and awareness,

Letting the world know.

This man is a real hero,

Many plaudits we should bestow.

Give this man a Knighthood,

Recognise what he has done.

He deserves to be our sports personality,

For the many miles that he has run.
