Am I the only one who hasn't started their Christmas shopping this year?

Usually I've gotten at least a few gifts by now and several things added to baskets on different sites bit this year I just can't seem to get myself in the mood to start shopping.

I've got quite a few things because I need to spread the cost. I have a tiny list of 7 people anyway and buy nearly all of it on line.

I’ve nearly finished. Only because it’s mainly concert tickets that had to be bought the second they went on sale. Will finish on next pay day. I also don’t have many to buy for which helps

Nope, I am procrastinating.

That said next Friday I am off the Lincoln market so the family's will be done then. Shall then pick a day to head to Smyth's and get the kids all in one go.

I'm buying people mostly practical things this year. Probably mostly vouchers for places that they would normally go.

I've kind of started and bought a few small things. But I've decided I'm going to step away from stuff because everyone has stuff and focus on more meaningful things. Experiences, planning little activities with people. I think time is one of the best things you can give people.

Plus I'm really hoping it catches on and I don't get stuff from family and friends. Rather have someone cook for me or we go for a nice meal or to the theatre or spa.

Just got my mum and sisters to buy for, but I think we are all giving it a miss this year. I will get some nice food and drink, put up a tree, light the fire, that kind of stuff, maybe something with a little thought behind it, but no extravagances

I'd imagine it's going to be hard for a lot of people this year. All that matters is having your loves around

Mine is done in minutes.

Never give gifts, always cash or vouchers let them buy what ever they want is the best gift rather than give them something they probably don't want. Most gifts end up on eBay or Facebook for sale.

I am normally done by now, but I haven't a clue this year. No one needs anything and we're unlikely to all do an 'experience' together now everyone is grown up.

Nothing to buy.

Live on my own and will be working all through so no point getting food in or anything like that.

Won't be seeing family or friends so again, no point.

Just another month for me, but one where work is intense and I get the privilege of seeing other folk enjoying family and friends time, at other times getting berated for "ruining their Xmas" coz they booked a table for 6 but brought 8 people and we only have room for 6, not 8, and thinking to myself these people have no idea how lucky they are to have the time and funds for a get together and should really be thankful for that instead of being rude about their own lack of planning.

I don't like the fact that you can't see how much or little is left in the bottle. I'm sure that is a marketing ploy but no doubt they will say it deteriorates with exposure to light.

I don't buy presents....for other people. Lol! I got myself a present already in sale and with employee discount. Quite chuffed I got £80 off the regular retail price and it usually last a year or a year and a half.

I bought a goose from Lidl as my Christmas bird yesterday. Now I have to see if I can pour cider on said goose for a good oven bake.
