"I have actually done this on multiple occasions; have a look at the site, Reel Streets (for UK) or the IMDB site for places where filming took place on the entire planet! Some places are almost unrecognisable, whilst others have changed only marginally. I have been to the set of Game of Thrones in Tollymore Forest Park, when filming was taking place, and also to the set of Shrooms in Gosford Forest Park, both in Northern Ireland." I've been to Oakworth Station: The Railway Children Aldbury: Shilingbury tales/Dirty Dozen Nene Valley Railway: Eastenders/Bond Thorpe Hall: Dirty Dozen (Worked there too) Manor Road in Teddington/Hampton Wick is on my wish list.

"Some locations that were close to the film studios around London have been used on multiple occasions in many different genres especially locations that were close to Ealing Studios,Nettlefold,Elstreeetc. Reel Streets are always looking for enthusiasts to identify former locations that have changed, almost beyond recognition. Herve Attia has visited famous locations in USA, such as Bullitt car chase route, that is not contiguous; and Planet of the apes from 1968. The specially constructed set for Ryan's Daughter in Kerry in 1970was actually demolished because Kerry County Council told David Lean that they did not want it!" That could have been a tourist trap.

Georgian street they are pretending is 1770s Philadelphia " Think that was for outlander series. I've seen lots of Liverpool used as film or TV series. The last Batman had a lot of Liverpool locations including the Liver buildings and St George's Hall. There was a serial that featured formby and freshfield a few months ago - can't remember the name of it though

So I spent three months there sleeping in a tent and volunteering in that very jungle. Best experience of my life!" were you hoping to be woken up by the velociraptors scurrying around the place?
