For once, I might give it a miss.

Qatar was a bent choice by a corrupt FIFA, the country is too small and their human rights record is awful.

I would rather spend match time in the clubs with my beau

Tried to get the whole world cup off work, but they'd only give me the first two weeks of it

I’ll have it on in the background as mood stuff when I am working during the afternoons… the only game I am really looking forward to is England vs USA, just because it’s the day after thanksgiving and I’ll be zonked out from copious amounts of food drinking on my sofa.. which means it’s an alternative to the Nebraska vs Iowa game which could make my eyes bleed

I'm gonna watch at least from quarterfinals. Not sure I got time for all the games but at least it's something.

And yes, it's corrupt, should not be held there, million reasons why it's wrong and unfair.

And yet there is a few hundred guys who have dedicated their whole lives to playing football, to being the best they can be, to get their country to world cup. Not sure the players deserve games to be ignored. It's rotten in the top, on the field it's all about the game. (Still not justifying the wrong, just supporting the people who worked hard).

That's a lot of my way of thinking too. The players didn't ask for this and it's an opportunity they may never get again. When it gets to the players walking out, singing their national anthems and the first whistle goes, I'd love to just concentrate on the match going on.

Definitely going to watch it, can’t wait! Corruption is everywhere and no country is innocent (even the ones that have held the world cup before). I’m not saying I agree with a lot of what has gone on in Qatar, with people dying when building the stadiums. That was just awful. But as for their laws, just respect them as you would want others to respect the laws in the UK. If you’re not a fan of Qatar and how they so things, then by all means don’t watch this world cup
