Russian missles have hit NATO member Poland.

Is this the start of WW3?

If one NATO member gets attacked other NATO members can retalitate.

" Not if it was an error."

As I've said on another thread, plausible deniability is the likely response. Believe it if you like...I don't

North Dorset

It will trigger Article 4 (not 5). Probably more eFP from NATO

It didn't happen if Russia insists we did it ourselves to incriminate them.

Can the global apocalypse please hold on at least until after Christmas please?

I’ve already bought my Christmas pudding and at that price I don’t want it going to waste.

Thanks!

Best eat it now. Will it keep till 2047? Nuclear fall out might have cleared by then.

No people don't like it when facts get in the way however...

Poland is saying they have reports that a missile has hit a small village in farmland on the Ukrainian Polish border killing 2 people. They have convened a meeting of their security council to discuss what has happened and to gather information and facts. Poland has not confirmed this is a Russian missile and have admitted it was probably an accident rather than targeted.

The pentagon has said they have had reports of a possible missile strike that have not been able to confirm anything as of yet. There have also been unconfirmed reports that this was actually a Ukrainian defence missile gone rogue.

Think it's best not to warmonger or speculate until we know what is actually happened.

All its proved is they can't fight there way out of a wet paper bag, living on past glory of the cold War days. Shame they have nuclear weapons as it a slight fly in the ointment.

Nothing will happen apart from more financial sanctions.

Nothing has happened to Russia after they shot down that passenger aeroplane a few years ago.

From the land of haribos.

They are now saying that it wasnt ukraines fault, they tried to defend themselves as russia fired many missiles, one can wonder if russia had an alternative motive to reach poland with some of them.

Only because they were supplied by their then western allies and they didn't give a shit about their losses. The juggernaut seems to have rusted away.

Because of a brilliant general called Zhukov, sensible gear for mud and cold . Numbers and their losses 43 to 45 were about 1.5 to 1.

I'm not sure we can judge the strength of the current Russian armed forces based on the world wars

The lesson is adaptation to war. Currently the Russians prefer hybrid warfare.

So the lesson from the second world war is Russian disinformation (their method of hybrid warfare)?

How does that follow logically?
