.. .I had a battered oreo pressed upon me to try at the chippy... At first it was horrific, then.. 'oh!' followed shortly after by the climatic ending.... 'mmmmm, kinda good but so wrong'

How do people dream these things up

What would you batter and feed to customers?

There was a chippy in my local town that'd batter any chocolate bar you brought in... Battered Mars bars were the favourite

I tend to indiscriminately throw Cinnamon at anything edible, and then see if the prevailing wind agrees with me.

Brie cooked in pastry is lush but very rich so I get the principle. I think one of those soft goat cheeses in batter would be great.

But Oreos are awful, just sweet with no flavour at all, how did deep frying one in batter make it any less awful?

Chip butties (with curry sauce, beans, beans and cheese, gravy, cheese and gravy), doner kebab chunks, double cheeseburgers (no bun), Mars bars, jaffa cakes, double decker, apple pie, oreos are on the list of one of my local chippies, basically if you can batter it they will

"We put batter on anything and everything here in Scotland. Mars bars , pizzas , pickled onions even chip rolls "

That reminds me of when Scotland faced Italy in a football match the Scottish fans chanted "Deep fry your pizzas. We're gonna deep fry your pizzas"
