I had one like that... although it was a Sanyo not a Sony. I also had Now That's What I Call Music vol 4 to listen to.

Had a portable black and white telly one year too, which was ace, but my sister had a ZX Spectrum and that was the ultimate present either of us had ever had.

Ooh, that reminded me of a boom box / ghetto blaster I had one year... I loved that. Didn't have a TV in it, but it was very loud and very cool.

It wasnt a christmas gift, but my dad took me to get a brand new bike when i was 10. Id always had second hand ones up to then. I didnt know i was getting one, it was a brilliant surprise.

It was called a molton mini. Never forget that

My toy Evel Knievel motorbike that I had when I was about 7 ... the one you wind up like feck and then takes off on it's own when it gets to speed - straight over the jumps like a north korean satellite launcher.. class!
