I've just tried to work out in my head how many there are in the house right now.

I may have missed a couple but it's around 25.

That seems a lot.

OK. Some of them are for sex toys but I never realised we have so many things in the house that rely on remotes to make them function.

If there was one thing you could have controlled by a remote that currently isn't......what would you choose?

I'm a bit obsessed with smart plugs at the mo. I can load up the Crockpot in the morning and then turn it on from anywhere!

Remotes are annoying though. Especially when you can't find them.

Shit. I didn't count the three Alexas.

They really should count as remotes too. Up to 28 now.

Fuck. And the new Lovense toy. App controlled but same shit. 29

We have two for TVs (the moving picture thing, not the sort who dress according to a different gender). And my Lovense doesn't have a remote, it's app controlled.

That's it. No more remote controls..... What in the heck are you remotely controlling?!

I have two remotes one tv one Btbox .. ole man has one for the btbox . Then remote in front room and one each in bedrooms . 4 alexas .

Remote for the lights. Plus smart plug

Phone app for Tado . It’s enough lol.

I hadn't.

Many are TV/audio related across three TV's in the house, soundbars and an oppd dock. There's a strong argument for 'one for all' remotes here but there's always some functions that you can't assign buttons to.

Some camera related. Probably double figures on the sex toys. Plus a couple of random things like fake candles.

They soon add up.

4- candle remotes best thing ever

Glad it's not just us then.

Although one of the TV remotes has died since I posted this. Thankfully there's an app I can use on the phone for that TV. Lifesaver!!
