Yes I did. To the person that I thought was the hottest man on fabs. I asked if I booked a hotel for a specific day would he like to celebrate my 20 year anniversary of leaving my husband.

He said yes, I booked it. He turned up on time and we had an amazing afternoon. I would message more people first if they had face photos. It's awkward iniating messages only to find out you don't actually fancy them when u see the face.

But sometimes it feels like women who do that are portrayed as desperate.

I wonder what men think about a woman texting for the first time asking to meet at the drop of a hat. The exact same way men do constantly on here. It does feel like it’s unacceptable or we aren’t allowed to do that.

Sometimes with the view to hopefully getting a positive response and we end up meeting but also sometimes just to compliment somebody on a well-presented profile. (not enough of them around, too many one liners and "fill in later")
