Morden

I like Tesco's own brand "gold" instant coffee for home consumption while I'm WFH.

The office has a decent fresh ground coffee machine.

I like Lavazza coffee from a Moka pot. Espressos or long black/Americanos for me. I detest milk in coffee generally, but if it's 3 in 1 for a rush job coffee then I guess I can't be picky.

That's similar to me. Except I demand to know what altitude it was grown at and spit it out if it's anything below 1,500masl

Well there is that .

There is one exception. I went to a friend's house recently and I struggled to drink the beverage I was served. Unfortunately she used a huge mug too. I'd never say anything though...until I got home

That's such a nightmare when it happens. Who knew tea or coffee could be poisonous in the wrong hands.

I'm always wary of watery milk coming out to me.

Have to practice the poker face

Friends of mine are coffee roasters… I drink a fair amount. Got a decent filter machine and a grinder. Had an espresso machine, can’t be arsed! Likewise, aeropress & V60. Too easy to mess up. I like waking up and making lovely coffee without hassle.

As opposed to other food & drink, it is actually fairly affordable to drink “really good” coffee. But like many things in life, it’s a question of taste. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with enjoying instant coffee, or anything else really. Too many opinionated ‘connoisseurs’ (twats) around food and drink…

I’ll be controversial here and say coffee bags, especially if you have a flask. My go to is a Japanese brand Ueshima which is also great as ground coffee

At that point you just keep talking and talking until you say "oh no it's gone cold, what a shame!"

I'm a fool to myself really. I've 'enjoyed' some gruesome stuff in my time. I might opt for your glass if water suggestion in future

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

I currently have the choice of using:

4 Wall mounted Coffee Bean Grinders

5 Different size Cafetieres (French Press)

3 Different size Mokka Pots

3 Percolators

and A Dolce Gusto machine

Prior to Covid I had a business selling all types of Coffee pots, the above are part of the left over stock as I closed the business during Covid.

My Coffee I get from a well known store in Knightsbridge.

I'm sick to death of high street coffee shops pumping out their noxious fumes. It's foul smelling and even worse tasting. It's like something that's been passed through the digestive tracts of at least three animals, one of which must eat other animals shit.

I really hate coffee.

Give me cup of Assam any day.

Stockport

M&S ground coffee, usually single country. Coffee maker filter pot. Usually make enough in morning to have a fresh made mug with breakfast, then rewarm a mugful in microwave as I fancy more during day and with dinner. If any remains at end of day, may rewarm for breakfast next day.

Tastes fine to me. But my coffee connoisseur friend refers to my brew as "filthy mud" and brings her aeropress when visiting...

Love our aeropress when I feel like making a fancy coffee, but a cafetiere does us fine for day to day. We have a little metal filter that came with a pack of Vietnamese coffee and it's flimsy but works well. Vietnamese coffee is like rocket fuel but so delicious

I have an Espro press for a finer French press... And (I just looked it up) they were half *that* price when I bought mine
