Grand son 17 months old has been stood in awe at gradma & gran dads Christmas tree.

Does anyone know of any big tree lights I can take him tomorrow.

Not 100s of miles but dont mind an hours drive from Bolton

.

Try the Christmas Market in Manchester. By the town hall there are huge trees and giant lit santa and in the market a singing reindeer head. Google Cjristmas Market Manchester and will give you an idea

The tree at Cheshire Oaks is quite impressive - I saw it in daylight tho, so make sure it lights up at night lol

Trafford Centre - they usually have a good display

Christmas markets in Manchester City Centre with the huge santa on the town hall clock.

There is also a nursery in Newton Heath Manchester that usually uses 50% of all Manchesters electricity during the festive season

I think it's on Droylsden Road

Hope gramps and his boy have fun wherever you get to !

My neighbour's have what appears to be a giant redwood covered with last year's Blackpool illuminations in their front garden. I'd gladly consider cutting the bloody thing down and shipping it to you, free of charge, for your grandsons viewing pleasure.

Sheffield

Ask your neighbours if anyone has noticed where locals have done the most house decorating. It tends to happen in clumps - one person starts then the next year the neighbours join in. Often in council estates and also on those 'executive' estates.
