Are you a week or a weekend trainer?

From the land of haribos.

I like and prefer training during the week, having said that my training week starts on a sunday. I train 3 times a week, sunday, tuesday and thursday. I am doing a full body workout and I am going to be training today

I do most of my training during the week. I occasionally add a Saturday session, with variety.

Me( Mr O) trains mon to fri. Each session is about 1.25 long. Mrs says ‘ you’ve gotta look good to screw other husbands wives) makes me chuckle, but I suppose she’s absolutely right, as usual.

Definitely a weekend trainer.

I haven't decided which weekend this year though. Been putting off the annual event and running out of time I think........

I am a boxing coach and our gym is open 6 nights a week so yes I’m there more or less every night

We do a two hour session except Wednesday where we do 2 sessions, one is a ladies only

Other than that I still practice martial arts training during the day, 7 days a week

I see and yes, doing it daily is also good. I also train daily in a way, but not with weights, like I try to walk for 2hrs a day for the cardio, split up in 2 sessions, plus yoga in the evening

London

I used to do 3 days on and one day off when I was really into weightlifting.

Now I do mostly daily yoga with Adrienne. Could do with adding some cardio, mah butts getting thick.

Tuesday strength

Wednesday intervals

Thursday strength

Friday rest

Saturday sport

Sunday long run

Monday rest

Do for three weeks and then have a rest week every fourth week. Bizarrely I'm usually most knackered during the rest week

I run every day and twice on 3 of them.

I need to find more time for the upper body but I find that stuff so boring.

Rest days tend to be longer slower runs to reduce the strain.

I don't workout as such. My gym is the outdoors and hillwalking. Used to be 20-25 miles per week with the bulk of that at weekends but long covid issues since last Christmas have brought that down to 5 or 6 miles max.

Whenever the body feels like it tbh , whenever that happens it's always in the mornings though as l feel it's the best time , am not in any competition now so no need to set a routine, watch what l eat and recovery is just as important for everything. If anything else takes up my time in the morning it gets 100% attention.

I only (workout) go the gym once a week, on a Wednesday evening. I hate the gym, full of bellends taking selfies or people sat on machines texting.

I mainly do classes and so as many as I can.

Mon Circuit training, Tue triple treat (cardio, core & conditioning), LB&T, swim & sauna, wed gym, Thur group power (full body weight work out) Fri boxing/HIIT (depending what time I get home from work) & sauna, Sat strength & conditioning, sun boxing sauna.

Obviously I miss days here and then and make changes depending on work.

I'm obviously not very fit as you can tell, but have been trying to go more consistently recently. Time wise I can usually only manage 3 times a week and they're usually one weekend day, usually Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.

Both. I train kettlebells and grappling during the week. I play football at the weekend and factor that into my training load.

I find nutrition harder to control at the weekend though
