Ice actually known Jim for many years, he's the sweetest guy you could ever meet. I've seen him play in pubs to less than 50 people and am so pleased that in recent years his solo work is finally getting thr recognition it deserves. He's a brilliant lyricist and song writer

Saw The Damned last week, amazing gig. They had supporting them a band called Smalltown Tigers; great power punk pop, and 3 stunning young women too.

Next planned gig is The Flaming Lips in April, but I'll get a few in before then

"Muse and Royal Blood on the same bill in May."

I saw The Pixies at the Castlefield Bowl in Manchester in 2014.

They were supported by Maximo Park.

But the first band on were just two guys...a guitarist and a drummer.

We had no idea who they were.

Fuck me they made some noise. It was Royal Blood.

I think we all went out the next day and bought their album.

Saw them last year at Eden project in Cornwall and were excellent.

Coincidentally also saw Pixies there a few years before, also very good.
