Start of December.

It's a lot of effort to put them all out and back again, so they stay up until just after the 31st, as it makes the entry into another grim year a little more cheery.

I don't have many, just a small tree and some ornaments.

I already have the new one out I bought from the Range a couple of weeks ago.

The rest will go out a couple of weeks before Christmas.

Mine have 'gone up' in the loft, years ago.

They will probably stay there until my executor*/the social services*/the bailiffs* deal with the junk up there.

Christmas should be ‘kicked into December’ …. but December IS the month of Christmas …. so once into December, let the fun begin!! … if you’re going to put them up, you want to make the most of them.

Mine will go up as soon as I can in December… a boozy afternoon that includes bottle of Croft Original … and Gluwein !!

They come down usually on the 2/3 Jan.

Each year I test the water with my kids to see if I can get away with not having to put up a crimbo tree. I think we have just a couple of years left and then I will happily not bother.

They usually go up first week of December and are down by 28th December.
