Gentlemën, Ladiës, Binariës and Whateveriës...

Like most urbane folk on here I like to commence the day with a robust shot of strong coffee, accompanied with a warming butter-rich Pastry.

What would you choose from my favourite three: Croissant , Pain au Chocolat or a Cinnamon Swirl?

Answers on a toastcard.

A cinnamon swirl I consider more of a cake than a breakfast item. A croissant is nice, but I only eat it with butter, which is dull. If you want to satisfy me, serve up a pain au chocolat please. Warm and crispy from the oven, oozing chocolate

I would have no problem with a cinnamon swirl for breakfast, or any time of day

Tough choice, pain au chocolat probably just edges it.

I enjoy a #heathen alert # a croissant with Nutella and a cup of freshly brewed, very strong, very hot coffee. I also enjoy a selection of tiny pastries, just mouthful of cinnamon pastry, a miniscule apricot,a pain au choc that's gone in a bite.

I love a little mixed basket of miniature danish and large fresh croissants. Baked to a perfect crisp on the outside, warm fluffy doughy softness in the centre.

Mmm, what a choice! If we’re going savoury, the. A ham and cheese filled croissant is the way to go, but we also get a lot of sweet filled croissants here, either piped with creme patisserie, or Nutella or some flavour of jam, all of which are good, but a cinnamon swirl is very tempting, though I have to say, why are pain au raisin not on the list?!
