I can fill the position, only snore gently if exhausted, seem to have an internal thermostat, don't hog the duvet, and love spooning, especially in the morning

Starfishing is positioning yourself in the middle of a double bed and stretching your arms and legs out like a starfish. Perfect if you have the bed to yourself, greedy if you are sharing.

I think I've given up looking.

Every time I've tried for something like that its ended up badly. I just put an extra duvet on the bed to keep warm.
