"As far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a gangster"

A brilliant opening line to a brilliant film......

When I was a kid I wanted to be one of three things - a cowboy, a vampire or the Incredible Hulk. Sadly, it hasn't worked out on any front.

So tell me what you wanted to be when you were little and - who now does what they always wanted to do?

I wanted to be the incredible hulk too. I do have a large paddling pool and a quantity of green poster paint we could get naked in it and green each other up if you like.

I always wanted to be the teacher a kid could say "I had her and she taught me [insert comment]"

I'm a tutor now working within the local community teaching and mentoring. I wouldn't swap it for the world.

I wanted to be the next Michael Jordan of the NBA and was close.

Was playing for Manc and England and had 2 American scouts ( Minnesota & Carolina ) watching me but during a playoff game shattered my knee in to more pieces than I care to remember

Very kind of you RTB but I was hoping to achieve my Hulk status through a combination of Gamma ray exposure and sheer anger.

Much as I enjoy the idea of being done up like an Airfix Panza, I'll persevere with my labaoratory experiments for now.

I wanted to be a dancer when I was a little girl, disco, not ballet or ballroom. Basically I wanted to be in Pans People.

Then a rock star, still want to be that.

Its quite funny because as a little girl I never wanted to work or do what I do now. I absolutely love my job though and it is amusing how I've taken up this line of career when I was so dead set against it as a young girl

What a fantastic way with words you have! "being done up like an Airfix Panza" has to be the most grin inducing remark I've seen all day! If I changed my name to Gamma Ray would you still be up for exposure?

After that i wanted to be a social woker, didnt knw what aspect.

But the job i would love wouldbe to work with homeless, addicts alcoholics and drug users.

If I were given the chance to wipe the slate clean and start again, I would like to be a goldsmith, be able to polish gemstones, so that I can design and make jewellery from scratch.

I wanted to be a barrister or solicitor.

I'd have made a good one, I think.

Now I want to retrain by going to medical school but there's no way I could afford to.

Went to college and everything then changed my mind and worked in a hospital, then the nhs and worked for them now for 8 years. Don't think I would leave, I love the job just hate the politics that come with it

when i was around 12 i thought i wanted to be an air hostess.. then when i joined the ATC at 13 i wanted to become an air traffic controller in the RAF

Then at 16 decided i wanted to become a Primary School teacher, but when i chose Double Health & Social care for A Level i kinda fell a bit more in love with Biology and wanted to become a nurse.. that changed yet again when i was around 19 after working in a nursing home where i then changed it again to Mental Health Nursing. 5 years on, im still set on that idea just yet to action those thoughts lol

I do agree. I think you would be a very good one.

Even though that's not the career route you followed. There is nothing to stop you dressing up and posting some pics don't forget to wear glasses and chew on a pencil

I do actually have a mack (Well a long leather trench coat but but no trouser legs that attach at the knee down. The grannies! Well that's a risky situation as many are so skilled in the art of brolly poking it might be dangerous for my health.
