"Does anyone know anything about this stuff an ways to calm the mind " I used to meditate in my 20s after learning some techniques , it was a really long hard journey Try sitting or laying down in a position you feel very relaxed , sitting us better. Breathe slowly and more deeply than normal , try to breath from your abdomen not upper chest. Try to let go of any thoughts and focus on the breathing in and out. Particularly put your focus on the feeling of the air as you inhale through your nose. When you realise your mind has wandered off thinking about something, just smile to yourself, let the thought train go and come back to breathing. Try to have no opinion on the fact that your mind wandered off , don't be angry or frustrated just keep letting it go each time you become aware of it, and coming back. This is not meditation but meditation training and it might help you relax | |||
