I remember someone posting in a thread about being in the forces and as all of his pics were of him in uniform it was going well until people started to point out that it was all from 30 years ago and was a total mishmash of surplus stuff

Yes, but a long time ago, and long before I became Lucy. I will revert to the male me for Remembrance Sunday but will be a bemedalled Lucy on Armistice Day, schizophrenic though that feels.
