Played frisbee with The Levellers at Glastonbury one year.

At the Olympics this year I met loads of people, highlights include Dame Kelly Holmes, Kate Middleton, Simon Mason, Eddie Izzard, British women's hockey team shortly after they won bronze, went drinking with the Lithuanian basketball team.

Lowlights included Seb Coe, Prince of Belgium (arrogant little git).

I have 1 or 2 mentioned above on my phone, not saying which ones though!!

nicked from wikipedia

Timothy Whites was a British chain of dispensing chemist and houseware stores.

The origin of Timothy Whites was a ships' chandler and general store in Portsmouth, started in 1848 by Timothy White. In 1935 Timothy White merged with Taylors Drug Co. Ltd. to form Timothy Whites & Taylors; this was taken over by Boots Pure Drug Co. in 1968. The shops themselves were named either simply "Timothy Whites" or "Timothy Whites & Taylors". Just before the takeover, there were 614 Timothy Whites shops; as a result of the takeover, pharmaceuticals were sold by Boots alone, and Timothy Whites was limited to 196 shops selling houseware. The Timothy White's name eventually disappeared in 1985.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

Followed Liz Dawn (Vera Duckworth) round Drumlanrig Castle, had a chat with her in the gift shop...got photos of me with Craig Charles at Kendal Calling 2 years on the trot...was walking down a street in Oxford once when John Thaw walked past and I did a double-take but was too star-struck to say hello...met Omid Djalili, Boy with tape on his face, Josh Widdicombe, Jeremy Hardy, Bill Bailey, Ed Byrne and Seann Walsh at our local theatre over the past year or so

Oh, and sometime in the mid 90's I shagged the lead singer of a 70's rock group when they played Arse End - a lady would never name drop, but I'd had a bit of milk and alcohol, but fortunately didn't need a Doctor

It depends on what you mean by famous.

One of my university lecturers and tutors was a Nobel Prize winner.

I also know a few people in very high profile jobs, but not "celebrities" as such.

He was a regular at my house when I was a kid. My dad was a session muso in the 60's and 70's. Romeo, Dave and Malc are long time family friends.

I know a few, and have met quite a few especially sports people.

Was at school with a couple of people on TV, but my very favourite introduction was when my mother (go mum) introduced me to her friends daughters........... Elle (the body) and Mimi MacPhearson!! Elle was lovely and was very excited as she was going to get her bf from the airport and brought him to the party as well.

Sadly, I had no idea who they were until my mates told me.

Oh and I physically walked into Peter Cook just before he died (no I didn't cause it) and he looked so pleased when all I did was say "dreadfully sorry Peter" he smiled and walked away. I suspect everyone he met did impersonations or wanting autographs.
