I went for a run this morning. Cold and Crisp - I love these mornings.

Frosted car roofs glittering in the lamp glow ...... just me and the odd dog walker who is picking up shit.....

The glow of the paper shop windows and golden leaves on the ground........

I put my bin out at 6am wearing shorts only, it was freezing, car windscreens all frozen and the pavement perishing on my bare feet. Hi do love this time of year, it’s so refreshing and invigorating.

It’s lovely others feel like this. I love this time of year. It seems strange, but I find the short days fascinating.

I went for a walk just as the light was fading yesterday - something very evocative about it.

I do also love it when the days slowly start to lengthen as the hemisphere crawls out of winter too, mind.
