my dog died while I worked away the worst part was not seeing him before he died , just think of the good times you had and those querky moments that he made with you, grief is hard , keep something to sooth the feelings, i kept his collar and grooming brush.

I'm so sorry to hear it man, I've lost both of my dogs over the last few months and it's just heart-breaking. The eldest was almost 17 when she died.

Have a drink and just remember the happy times.

Hope you feel better soon

Remember the good times with your pupper. I am positive that they loved you that you showed them.

Sorry to hear that, OP. Never an easy decision. As others have said, remember that you gave them a good life and they knew they were loved, and loved you back. Not all doggos are lucky enough to have that.

So sorry to hear this. Remember the good times, and the cheeky times. Don’t be ashamed at having a good greet.

I had to let my dog go in 2019, I’ve given away her bowls, and some of her jackets/beds to friends, but I still have her expensive equafleece, and her collar and lead, they’ve never moved, I don’t intend to give them to anyone else. A good friend of mine had the last pic taken of her (& her pals) made into a really nice key ring so she’s always with me, I also have a couple of cushions with her pic on them so I can still cuddle her. I miss her so much, she was a fab dog, smart as hell, and forever missed. She actually had a better social life than I did.
