Evening everyone. I didn't get furlough on the buses but the place I work now did .They were off for 7 months they said it was fantastic. But also what was funny was the mad panic for loo rolls and pasta. Crazy times.

Definitely as first one was great for me as I had torn a bicep and ripped a tendon in my right arm and was on sick pay so not a lot . Furlough came along and they put me on full pay . Enjoyed the rest and recovering time x

No furlough for me. I just worked from home. Still am. Only have to go in to the office once a month. It's a lot easier now all the kids are in school, it wasn't any fun trying to work with them here.

I went from working 80/90 hr weeks to 5 weeks of furlough. First couple of weeks I was bored then got into the swing of things and was kinda sad had to go back to work. I would not want another spell though as I was only paid for basic hrs and not overtime so was losing a grand a week.

I didn't get furlough last time but I did get to skip the queue at Tesco at the end of an 11 hour shift and a discount key worker deal on a hotel during the little of my annual leave that wasn't cancelled so I guess that's something. I would very much appreciate a break right now as I'm still physically recovering.

The country could never afford it we are struggling to pay what we borrowed last time and i think they are going to really tighten the countrys spending for the forseable future. Not to mention how it broke supply lines and put immense pressure on all of us trying to work through it.

Our bosses had some meeting with officials in downing Street and came back with the answer "you lot are essential so will carry on working then sent all the office staff home to work from there

Bought a rake of new laptops for everyone and office chairs and 18 months later some of them still won't come back

Couldn't get hold of anyone working from home and when we did got told "oh I'll do that shortly I'm just out walking in the sunshine".

???? Working from home my arse.

No! No way. I was furloughed and I hated it. First off I lost the majority of my pay because my work didn’t top up the difference.

Secondly I felt guilty for taking public funds and it also really irritated me thinking of all the debt that was wracking up from all of us on furlough.

Thirdly I sort of felt lost. It wasn’t like a holiday. It was months of being locked in a house with nothing to do and feeling sort of useless.

Really annoyed me when people were pushing for it to be extended

I’m self employed so got no choice but to work no work no pay no holiday pay no sick pay jack shit hence why I earn good money & I’m expected to save what I don’t spend I didn’t take any furlough grants either not worth messing my tax rebate up
